Danse avec les stars – Season 7 – Week 8 (3rd of December, 2016)
Alizée wasn’t part of the regular cast on the season 7 of Danse avec les stars. She only did one appearance on week 8, for a dance trio with Grégoire Lyonnet and Camille Lou, who were part of the season 7. Camille is a French singer and Grégoire is the professional dancer of the couple, and also Alizée’s husband.
Dance – Rumba trio
The style for the trio was chosen to be rumba, like on the last dance trio on season 4 with Candice Pascal. The biggest difference is the fact that Alizée was now the third wheel. Music for the dance was “Ma Benz” by a group called Brigitte.
The dance was very well received and was definitely the hottest dance during the night. French media released several articles on Sunday and Monday about the trio and especially about the ending of the dance where Camille initiated a hot long kiss with Alizée (in French they used word “torride”, meaning “extremely hot”).
They scored 72 points, with all the judges giving nine for technical and artistical aspect of the dance. There were almost no errors during the dance, which is quite remarkable considering that Alizée had only few days to get used to Camille. And of course, this being the first dance for Alizée in live broadcast since her participation back in 2013.
The choreography seemed quite well planned and each dancer had their part in it. Though, I’d say Grégoire had the least visible part of the dance, the girls were in the spot light most of the time. Technically the dance was very challenging but good choreography let it slide.
From Alizée, an excellent return to the stage of Danse avec les stars. Camille & Grégoire will continue their adventure on the next week.
Total: 72 points
Bonus videos from internet
Before the prime show, a few bonus videos were released on TF1’s website and an interview came out on NT1 channel. The first video shows the moment when Alizée met Camille and they practice the first time. On the second video you have an interview of Alizée & Grégoire and short video of the trio practicing. The last video is from the practice on the stage, preparing for the upcoming live broadcast.
