Danse avec les stars – Week 6 (2nd of November, 2013)

Prime show

Dance 1 – Tango

On week 6 it was time to learn some tango. A dance that was maybe the most difficult for a little shy Alizée to handle. However, even though hanging on the edge, there was little shyness visible on the prime show. Alizée and Grégoire Lyonnet manage to put together very passionate and hot tango. Even though there was few errors in technique, the dance scored utterly unfair scores. Was it done to put Alizée’s feet down to Earth, or what was the reason, remains unknown.

Only 57 points were given for the dance, lowest ever for Alizée, and even 5 was given one time for technique. Judging by the sound of audience, the dance would have deserved a much higher scores, which our readers agreed also on our weekly poll after the prime (tango was ranked higher than flamenco). The music was Video Games from The Young Professionals, perhaps a tiny hint of Alizée’s passion on (retro) video games.

This weeks specialty was 15 second dance solo, which Alizée (like everyone else) danced during this first dance. Especially the solo got much attention from the audience and was very well received. On the media however, the most attention seemed to got Alizée’s butt. Well, we haven’t seen that in long time, so it could have been big news for them… Thankfully not all the press stick to that but also her dance was very well received in general and she was praised all over the media.

Total: 57 points
Artistic: 8,8,8,8
Technical: 7,5,7,6

Dance 2 – Flamenco

The second dance for the week was flamenco. The dance started with amazing laser and light show and turned out to be simply amazing in every way. The song for the dance was chosen to be La gitane from Félix Gray, and it fit perfectly to the dance.

Alizée truely mastered her dance, and like judges noticed, her hands and arms were simply perfectly controlled during the dance. Maybe the trick worked with the first dance, Alizée did amazing return to top of the dancers. This dance will be remembered long time. She would have great career waiting in Spain as a flamenco dancer!

Total: 70 points

Technical: 9,9,8,9
